Embellished Quilt £25 3 weeks New date to be arranged
A great follow on course from the Small Quilt suitable for those with previous patchwork and quilting experience. In addition to piecing, quilting and binding you will have the opportunity to embellish your quilt using free machine embroidery.

Machine Applique £25 1 day Friday 4th May 2007
Create an A4 panel featuring a beautiful appliqué of historical dress. This panel features layering of fabrics and colours to create texture and is embellished further with a delicate satin stitch to complete the project. Your final piece can be used as you wish as part of bag, cushion, quilt, wall hanging etc.

Intro. to Free Machine Embroidery £25 1 day Friday 2nd March 2007
This one day workshop will cover use of the sewing machine to develop the techniques involved in freestyle machine embroidery. Students will be guided, step by step, through the basics and will throughout the day, build on the skills they are developing. A wonderful workshop designed for the individual to work at his or her own pace. When you feel ready to create Brenda will help you to make a notebook or photo album cover. Ideal for beginners. Selected materials provided

Beaded Bag £25 1 day Friday 1st June 2007
This one day workshop will commence with an introduction to beading. You will have the opportunity to try out different methods of using beading as an embellishment. All students will sample bead weaving and create a panel for a small bag. A small loom for weaving will be provided on loan for each student during the day. Selected materials included.

Christmas Tree Log Cabin Quilt £25 1 day New date to be arranged
This three, half day course incorporates cutting, piecing and embellishing techniques in order to create a wonderful Christmas sample to treasure. If you’ve not tried patchwork & quilting before or would like a new and interesting sample, then this course is for you.

Chenilled Bag £25.00 1 day Thursday 1st February 2007
This short handled hand bag incorporates a technique of layering and stitching different fabrics together that are then cut and slashed to create a chenille effect. The bag is then washed to create a fascinating and beautiful textured finish. Both practical and creative this workshop is a must.

Machine Embroidery Collage £25.00 1 day Friday 13th April 2007
A follow on course from machine embroidery where you will add to your knowledge of creating texture. In addition to using various threads and stitch techniques Brenda will introduce various materials to add further texture to your projects.

Beginners Knitting £25.00 1 day Friday 26th January 2007
To compliment our new stock of wool we will be offering a selection of knitting workshops. During the first of these workshops Brenda will introduce you to that basic stitches and techniques whilst making a knitted bag.
