Desanne is also available for ONE TO ONE LEARNING SESSIONS. Sessions of this type have to be pre booked and are available at £15 per hour. So, if you don't have time for a full day workshop, yet would still like to learn a little more about your machine or accessories you can book an hour or more at a time that suits you!

Basic Overlocker £45 1 day New date to be arranged
This one day workshop will provide you with the knowledge to complete basic overlocking tasks. Pick up tips and tricks on threading and setting tensions. Discover how to gather and turn corners. Learn how to create and use stitches such as four thread seam, three thread overedge, roll hem and flatlock. Combine these techniques to produce a decorative cushion cover. Suitable for beginners. Materials and use of threads provided.

Overlocker Feet £45 1 day New date to be arranged
If you’re confident with using your overlocker but would like to do more with it, then this workshop is for you. Learn how to create and insert piping, gather and insert lace, insert elastic and create a blind hem. You will also learn how to use your blind hem foot to create flat lock lace insertion. All will make a decorative cushion cover (to match the one from the basic overlocker class!) Suitable for those with intermediate overlocking skills. Materials and use of threads provided. You will need your overlocker, blind hem, piping and gathering foot.

Sewing with your Feet £45 1 day Saturday 12th May 2007
Piping, cording, zipper, concealed zipper, pintuck, roll hem, edge/joining, darning, gathering, bias binding, braiding, beading, blind hem, overcastting, ribbon and sequin feet, just to mention a few! What are they all for and how can they make your sewing easier? During this one day workshop we will focus on six of the most popular accessories available for your sewing machine. Gathering, piping, blind hem, overcastting, zipper and cording feet will all be used to create a beautiful sample.

Cushions £45 1 day Saturday 21st April 2007
Cushion covers are so easy to make and can look extremely professional with little effort. Make two styles of cushion cover, one featuring twin needle corded pintucks with zipper closure – the other corded embellishment with button closure. View lots of different styles and designs for further inspiration.
