The new Designer SE upgrade 12124 is now available to download

The new Designer SE upgrade 12124 is now available to download. The new features include automatic jump stitch on embroidery (on designs with pre-digitized trim commands). In order to benefit from this new feature your Designer SE will need a mechanical upgrade which is available at a cost of £58.75. Please contact us to make an appointment to have your machine upgraded. In addition to the trim facility there are four other exciting additions to the Designer SE. The upgrade will allow you to go to the exact embroidery stitch number. This is a great help when positioning embroidery and selecting specific areas of a design to embroider. An increased embroidery speed ensures that your design will be completed in the minimum of time. An embroidery countdown timer for each colour of the design will let you know if you have time to go and put the kettle on between colour changes! Finally the thread colour name is now displayed in the Quick Help menu of your Designer SE.

The fabulous embellisher from Janome

The fabulous embellisher from Janome just got even better thanks to the release of the new 5 needle block. Previously the FM725 only offered the fixed 5 needle unit and the single needle unit – using 3 needles for example wasn’t an option. This new needle unit means that you can now use between 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 needles. Needles can be changed very easily thanks to the great design of the flip up needle guard. The new 5 needle unit is supplied together with an extra five needles and spare presser foot - this optional accessory is available at a cost of £25.00. Also new for the EM725 is the large extension table. A great addition to the felting machine it fits snugly against the machine giving a much larger work surface and giving extra support for all your felting projects - £55.00.

Frister & Rossmann Epochlock 055D overlocker NOW IN STOCK!

Now in stock and selling particularly well is the Frister & Rossmann Epochlock 055D overlocker. If you hate threading your overlocker or if you'd love an overlocker but have always been a little wary of the threading system then the Epochlock overlocker is a dream come true! No other overlocker will give you access to the threading system like this Frister & Rossmann overlocker. Both left and right covers move completely out of the way taking the whole knife block with it to give you easy access to each threading point on the machine. There are no fiddly looper threading systems to worry about - everything is in clear view and the threading system is easy to follow thanks to it's colour coded thread path.

The threading is not the only good thing about this overlocker - there are so many other wonderful features. Inside the front cover is a neat storage area for your overlocker tools - needles, tweezers, screwdriver, stitch fingers and even space for a spool cap are easily accessed when you need them. The waste tray fits neatly onto the front of the overlocker and collects any cut away scraps of thread and fabric.

Apart from the wonderful design features the Epochlock is a fabulous machine. It stitches beautifully and it's a sturdy model that copes very well with a multitude of different fabrics thanks to its adjustable foot pressure, stitch length, cutting width and differential feed. Using these settings on the machine it is easy to create gathers when required - stitch stretch fabrics without that awful wavy finish - edge delicate fabrics without frustration.

NEW 4D EMBROIDERY SOFTWARE NOW WITH AUTO DIGITIZING
The 3D embroidery software was impressive but this new and improved embroidery software collection is even more astounding! With many new features in a program that seems even easier to use you will have to tear yourself away from the computer! The basic 4D Embroidery package offers some wonderful customizing features – combine designs easily and don’t worry about a build up of stitches on overlapped areas as this new program will automatically remove overlapped stitches. The encore and endless features of the old system are now joined by the facility of framing each hoop size with embroidered borders. This is now more definitely a program that caters for all home embroidery machine enthusiasts. Although it has long been a multi-format program it now has each of the major manufactures and their hoop sizes pre-installed within the program and of course you can still add your own unique hoop sizes if required.
